Tech Connections – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tech Connections. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Tech Connections, including call answering, VoIP, Microsoft 365 management, 0800 numbers, website services, and related products.


1. Payment Terms

All invoices are due within 7 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment must be made in full by the due date.

2. Late Payment

If payment is not received by the due date, Tech Connections reserves the right to charge a late fee of $15 + GST per month. We may also pause or suspend services until payment is received in full.

3. Service Charges

All charges are quoted exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

  • Monthly plans such as Support Plans and 0800 numbers are billed in advance.
  • Usage-based services (e.g., call overages) are billed in arrears.

4. Microsoft 365 Licences

Microsoft 365 licences require a 12-month minimum commitment. If you cancel your Microsoft 365 plan early, the remaining value of the annual term will be invoiced in full.

5. Website Services

Website hosting, domain names, and website-related services are provided by a third-party provider on behalf of Tech Connections. We manage these services for you, but infrastructure, availability, and performance are the responsibility of the provider.

Tech Connections will take all reasonable steps to ensure continuity of service, but we are not liable for any outages, delays, or data loss caused by the third-party provider.

Liability for website services is strictly limited to one (1) month of fixed website-related charges paid to Tech Connections. We do not accept responsibility for indirect or consequential loss resulting from service disruptions.

6. Overage Charges

Any usage beyond your included monthly allowance (e.g., call minutes) will be charged at your agreed overage rate and invoiced in the following billing cycle.

7. Plan Changes & Cancellations

To cancel or make changes to your plan, you must provide at least 30 days’ written notice. No partial refunds will be issued for unused time within a billing cycle.

8. Disputed Charges

You must raise any disputes about your invoice within 7 days of receiving it. Charges not under dispute must still be paid by the due date.

9. Service Interruptions

Tech Connections is not responsible for service interruptions caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to third-party outages, internet provider issues, or power failures.

10. Ownership and Data

Unless agreed otherwise in writing:

  • All phone numbers, call data, and configurations remain the property of Tech Connections.
  • Call records are available to you on request for as long as we retain them.

Clients retain ownership of their business phone numbers and domain names. However, Tech Connections reserves the right to deny requests to port numbers or transfer domains to another provider if there is an overdue balance on the account. In such cases, outstanding balances, including any unpaid domain renewal fees, must be cleared before release is granted.

11. Support

Standard support is available during business hours (Monday to Friday, NZT). Extended or 24/7 support is available by arrangement and may incur additional charges.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Tech Connections respects your privacy and handles your personal and business information with care. We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve our services.

We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is:

  • Collected for legitimate purposes and stored securely
  • Accessed only by authorised personnel
  • Accurate and up to date

We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except when required for service delivery (e.g., Microsoft, third-party website or hosting providers).

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal and business record-keeping requirements
